Daredevil Season 2 Review In Progress

Daredevil was a surprise hit last year.  It has been speculated that a second season was never planned, and the initial outline of Marvel and Netflix’s deal, while not ruling it out, seemed to account for only four series before the team-up of The Defenders.  But despite these things, the well written characters, compelling plot, and brutal fight scenes earned a second season when the show was met with widespread critical praise.  The question now is, can the show achieve the same level of quality without the element of surprise?

Learn to Share, Marvel

When Marvel created the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it was touted as a shared universe between all of their different live action projects. That’s a pretty cool idea. Currently, Marvel has three different types of live action products going on. The big screen movies, some epic, like the Avengers and Captain America films, some much smaller, like Antman. The network TV stuff, produced for ABC because of the Disney ownership of both Marvel and ABC, and the Netflix streaming projects like Daredevil and Jessica Jones. But do they really play well in the same sand box, and should they?

Netflix Announces Release Date of Marvel’s Daredevil Season 2

Ready for the return of the “man without fear”? Netflix released a trailer today that announced that the episodes of the second season of it’s acclaimed series Daredevil will be released on March 18, 2016.

The second season of Daredevil will also introduce long-time Marvel characters The Punisher and Elektra to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
