New Details on Star Wars Land from Star Wars Celebration

On April 15 at Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, Lucasfilm and the Walt Disney Company released new details, concept art, and even shared a video about the creation of the highly anticipated Star Wars lands coming to Disneyland and Walt Disney World in 2019.

The team of Imagineers shared a bit more information on the mysterious planet we will find ourselves when the land opens in Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The planet, situated somewhere in the Outer Rim, was once a bustling crossroads for merchants and traders… but with the sudden prominence of hyperspace travel, it’s become the perfect place for smugglers, rogue pilots, adventurers, and anyone else trying to avoid the First Order to hide away.
