Nintendo revealed during their conference that there are three ways to play!
You can leave the Switch in it’s docking base to play on the Tv, you can take the game tablet with you and connect the Joy-con controllers to the sides, looking similar to the Wii U gamepad, and the third way is using the tablet like an ipad and using the Two Joy-con controllers together to make one giant controller.
The System comes with a Left Joy Con and a Right Joy con but if you need to you can purchase more as well as additional accessories such as:
A Switch Pro Controller for $69.99
Extra Joy Con Controllers are $79.99 for a bundle or $49.99 for a single.
A Charging Grip for Joy Con controllers are $29.99
An Extra Switch Charging Dock (which allows you to use it on other TV’s in the house) are $89.99
