Bethesda showed off Dishonored 2 at E3, with a custom game engine dedicated to the game called “The Void Engine.”
Arkane Studios claimed they wanted the game to look like a painting, and I am happy to tell you it succeeds in this area. The demo shows off multiple areas of Dunwall, as well as new areas unseen in the first game.
The story surrounds Emily, but gives you the option of playing as Emily or Corvo. 25 years old, Emily rules the empire first watched over by Corvo. The game takes place 15 years after the original game. We get a look at an older, more disheveled Corvo.
I adore the art style of Dishonored. They have kept things consistent for the sequel. I just want to know more about this world! It is super fascinating to dive into the lore.
Dishonored 2 is set to release November 11, 2016.
